The MODERN ART COLLECTIVE proudly presents "Reimagined/Redefined", a vibrant new exhibition set to transform the gallery space at PRIOR Shop in Cabot Circus, Bristol, this October. Running from 18th to 29th October 2024, this show will feature a collection of colourful, contemporary artworks by eight artists from the South West of England, with all pieces available for purchase.
Visitors are invited to the Launch Party on Saturday 19th October, from 12:00 to 16:00, with another opportunity to "Meet the Artists" on Saturday 26th October, from 14:00 to 16:00.
The MODERN ART COLLECTIVE features eight artists: Sarah Boden, Hemali Modha, Rae Melody, Rhianon Beardsall, Wendy Golding, Gaynor Leverett-Jaques, Sue Pickering and Rachael Johnson.
Under the theme of "Reimagined/Redefined," each artist brings a unique perspective to their work, drawing inspiration from both the world around them and the internal world of emotion and feeling. They employ a diverse range of materials and techniques—such as paint, print, collage, and stained glass— creating works that span from abstraction to more recognisable forms
