Description
The wood block used in this print is meticulously hand-carved, the result is a rich, textured print that effortlessly conveys the artist's vision. Every line and detail is an embodiment of Rosanna Morris' creative prowess.
Printed using non-toxic water-based ink, on handmade paper using Lokta, a native plant found in the Himalayan foothills above 3000 meters, this paper is not only sustainable but also a renewable resource. Through responsible harvesting, the Lokta plants are cropped above ground level, allowing them to regenerate and be re-harvested every 3-4 years. This meticulous process ensures the preservation of natural biodiversity while providing a canvas that perfectly complements the woodcut print.
Every single Rosanna morris print is printed by hand and each one is a unique reproduction and so subtle variations will occur from print to print.
