Description
This is a truly skilled piece of craftsmanship, hand thrown on the wheel with a traditional pulled handle, the walls of the cup are slender and the handle elegant. It is light and incredibly tactile and rests nicely in the palm of your hand - perfect for cupping your favourite drink and settling down for 5 minutes of peace and quiet.
Nicholas develops all of his glazes himself from raw materials and hones them down until he reaches a satisfying level of perfection. these cups are half glazed on the outside and full glaze on the inside, revealing their earthy stoneware base. These particular rounded cups are perfect for those who enjoy a little traditional but minimalist style when it comes to their ceramics
Nicholas' maker's mark - his signature if you will - is visible on the underside of all of his pieces. His work is inspired by Scandinavian and Japanese pottery styles.
