A Cherrywood porridge spurtle which is perfect for stopping lumps forming in your porridge when stirring - creating a smoother, creamier porridge. Breakfast goals!
Description
A hand-turned porridge spurtle, made from cherry wood from Golden Hill Wood, Monmouthshire.
Due to the cylindrical shape, the spurtle allows the oats to be stirred around without the dragging effect of the head of a wooden spoon.
Made with hand tools and pedal power only, this spurtle is left with a crisp tool edge.
The wood is a by-product from local woodlands managed by the maker, Celi.
Dimensions
Approximate size: 28cm x 2.4cm.
Each spurtle is finished with food grade grapeseed oil and beeswax.
In order to maintain a longer finish, wash by hand. This can be re-oiled using any food safe wood oil.
Due to the handmade nature of this product, the spurtle you receive may vary slightly from the pictures.
