Simple and elegant; angles and curves
A lightweight and comfortable wood and Eco Silver earring that is bold, eye-catching and a great conversation starter. Handmade using repurposed wood with an impressive backstory.
Description
These earrings are completely handmade in my Bristol studio. I hand make each individual piece carefully and slowly from a large piece of wood, alongside the natural pattern in the grain, it's impossible to make two completely identical.
Wood:
- Maple - previously a demolished bowling alley (Weston Super Mare, Somerset UK)
- Ipe - previously an 18th Century Ship wreck (Southwald, Suffolk UK)
-
Jarrah - previously a grain barge pontoon from an 18th Century riverside Brewery (Bristol, UK).
- Pine - previously Battersea Power Stations roof apex.
- Oak - previously a Windmill Blade (Kent, UK).
The Eco Silver Earring is a collaboration between Priormade (Beck Prior) and Lima Lima (Rhiannon Hart). Forged using a single piece of square Sterling Silver (recycled), these earrings are bold, yet modest.
